Paddling out of picturesque Deep Cove in North Vancouver,
Canada, the North Shore Dragon Busters team was formed in
2008. As the only survivor team from Vancouver’s North Shore, we
have represented out community internationally in venues from
Australia to Dublin, and in regattas throughout British Columbia.
Our mandate is not only to raise breast cancer awareness,
but to offer fellow survivors a means to overcome the fear and
uncertainty that follows diagnosis and treatment. Through the
power of physical exercise and the support of an amazing team,
members find their inner athlete and the friendship and joy that
paddling a dragon boat fosters
