Based in Liverpool, England and set up in 2004 we were the
first dragon boat team for Breast Cancer Survivors in the UK. With
a membership of over 50 from across the NW of England we enjoy
regular training, racing and of course social gatherings, all done together
with our amazing supporters. We hold introductory ‘Pink Paddles’ each
month, for new members to give paddling a try combining with a wellearned
coffee and cake at a local eatery, and also host an annual charity
regatta, Dragons & Flowers, with all funds raised shared between two
independently chosen charities We love meeting up with other BCS
crews and taking part in events both in the UK & overseas. We have,
over the last 2 years, sadly lost 4 treasured members who we miss
terribly but their loss has strengthened our appreciation of life and of
each other and the individual strengths we each bring to the team.
