We are a team of breast cancer survivors living our lives sharing the
message and emonstrating that “there is life after breast cancer.”
We are a volunteer-based not-for profit organization with a group
vision to raise breast cancer awareness, provide personal support and
fellowship to fellow members and encourage survivors to live healthy
and happy lifestyles.
We provide breast cancer survivors the opportunity to paddle
competi vely and re creationally on Lake Banook and the
South Shore of the province, and since the founding of the
team in 1998, Bosom Buddies has competed in dragon
boat festivals across Canada as well as internationally
